Since nedit is without a fink maintainer, I'll
take over that package. While the newest lesstif
0.95.2-2 packaging eliminates the bus errors on
32-bit architectures when copying and pasting in
nedit, nedit still silently fails on pasting when
X11 has "Update Pasteboard when clipboard changes"
enabled in its preferences. The new nedit 5.6
cvs20081118 build (which Debian uses) gives a
sensible error message...
XmClipboardInquireLength() failed: clipboard locked.
in that case which at least gives the user a clue
as to the origin of the problem.
