db31 was only ever used for an old version of evolution (back when I packaged it for the first time. what a *pain* that was... :). So yeah, it can be removed, and I just did that. As for the rest: It sure would be nice if more of those could be converted to newer versions. > db3: > gconf > wsmake Well, gconf is 10.4 / 10.5 only; but, there are several more packages depending on db3, although they all seem to be 10.4 / 10.5 only, too. That said, it would be good to keep this around for our 10.4 / 10.5 users (of the latter group I was a member till 2 days ago :). Here are some more packages using db3 (I only looked at unstable): control-center gal19 gconf gnome-apt gnome-pim gnome-python-py23 gnome-vfs gtkhtml pygtk-py23 xmms-gdancer peacock > > db4: > spamprobe Confirmed. The .info file seems to be pretty outdated, too (version 1.0a from Nov 2004, but 1.4d from Jan 2007 is current). I'll contact the maintainer to see if he wants to upgrade. > db42: > openoffice.org > openoffice.org-firefox > openoffice.org-nocrypto Confirmed. This is openoffice 2.0.2, current is 3.2. It's only for 10.4 & 10.5, too. I haven't looked at the rest, as there are so many more packages; it's probably not worth the effort to try to upgrade them all at once.
