Jack, I have no idea what is going on between you / JFM / gcc4x right now (just returned from a trip, and have not yet caught up with any CVS logs, so I cannot comment on that). Let me just say this: If anybody does something bad, that will not go unnoticed, no matter whether it is me, JFM, or you. Whether *you* regain your commit bit is independent of whether we take away /return the commit bit of any other person. If JFM did something wrong (once again, I have no idea yet whether that is the case or not), it'll be looked into. However, please note that (a) I was not asking you to "prove yourself", and (b) your email and tone certainly do not help you regain that bit.
