I'm working on a package that requires gcc43 or greater. How do I define this in the info file? I could use (Build)Depends: gcc43, but if someone already has gcc44 installed, they'll end up with more than one gcc (and a lot of compilation time). The gcc version from Xcode on my system is 4.0.1 (10.5/PPC), so I need to add gcc to the info file. But maybe newer Xcode versions already have gcc43? I that case I assume don't need to add gcc43.
What's the recommended way to do this?
