Indeed. The existing situation breaks cloog, and is a violation of the
Shlibs policy as well:

ppl-0.10.2-1:
/.
/sw
/sw/lib
/sw/lib/libppl.9.dylib
/sw/lib/libppl_c.4.dylib
/sw/lib/libpwl.5.dylib
/sw/lib/ppl
/sw/lib/ppl/libppl_java.jnilib
/sw/lib/ppl/libppl_java.la
/sw/lib/ppl/ppl_java.jar

ppl-0.11-1:
$ dpkg -L ppl-shlibs
/.
/sw
/sw/lib
/sw/lib/libppl.7.dylib
/sw/lib/libppl_c.2.dylib
/sw/lib/libpwl.4.dylib
/sw/lib/ppl
/sw/lib/ppl/libppl_java.jnilib
/sw/lib/ppl/libppl_java.la
/sw/lib/ppl/ppl_java.jar

The fact that the java-related files didn't change names is a
complication, of course.
