I agree with you, but i think if there is a link redirection and it is not getting picked up by curl.
I can see a GET Request and 301 Moved Permanently reply. GET http://github.com/lloyd/yajl/tarball/1.0.11 HTTP/1.1\r\n HTTP/1.0 301 Moved Permanently\r\n but after this nothing happens. but incase of browser in addition to the above messages i can see the following request and replies too: CONNECT github.com:443 HTTP/1.1\r\n HTTP/1.0 200 Connection established\r\n Can the source be uploaded in some other site and pulled from there or should it come from the main website only?
