It initially didn't build for me on 10.6:

After removing fink's flex (2.5.4a, vs. 2.5.35) it built there (32 and
64 bit), as well as on 10.5 (/usr/bin/flex version 2.5.33).

However, the package won't build on 10.4 at all (/usr/bin/flex version
2.5.4). To make it work there, you'd need to make up a separate 10.4
version of the .info file, with a BuildDepend on flex-devel. Also you'd
need to make /sw/lib/flex/bin/flex (flex-devel installs in a private
directory for historical reasons) the flex executable which the build
uses, either by manipulating the PATH for the CompileScript or by
patching the package to use it.

If it's easy to patch the package to use a particular flex executable,
it would be preferable for the 10.5/10.6 description to specify
/usr/bin/flex rather than to have a BuildConflicts: flex.
