The point is that there's no way for someone without access to your
system to figure that out.

I don't see how that's possible, unless you didn't actually run the rm
command above (which should have been on one line) to remove the file.

Or maybe it's not _that_ version which is getting installed.  In which
case you should remove all the .deb files from
/sw64/fink/dists/local/injected/binary-darwin-x86_64/

While you're at it, you should also remove everything in
/sw64/fink/dists/local/injected/finkinfo/ , too.
