I need to find out how long before FSF gcc 4.5.3 is released as there is a useful fix from Duncan in gcc-4_5-branch... http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2011-04/msg00682.html Also, while dragonegg is rock solid in the default mode, I want to see how many of the issues with -fplugin-arg-dragonegg-enable-gcc-optzns can be fixed in the near term. This option causes all the gcc optimizations to be executed before the LLVM IR is generated which can greatly enhance the code optimization in dragonegg. Unfortunately, dragonegg doesn't understand all of the nodes those optimizations generate in the GIMPLE (of which some of may actually invalid GIMPLE).
