OK, that indicates that Fink's compiler wrapper scripts are at the head of the PATH, as they should be. The next question would whether a non-Apple compiler is in place in /usr/bin. What do you get from "/usr/bin/cc -version"? I get: $ /usr/bin/cc --version i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5666) (dot 3) Copyright (C) 2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk3Wus8ACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ9SVgCcCsD3K84q66671A/ICgGOhIrJ QPkAn32rPIUydUjX9s2hJ763Fd1mhz4m =7jlI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What Every C/C++ and Fortran developer Should Know!
