I did start with a fresh fink install on 10.7. Perhaps there is a more efficient way to do things, but my normal fink install is managed via rsync using the usual "fink selfupdate". I've got a separate cvs tree that I only use to commit my info files, once I've confirmed they work properly in the local tree on my normal fink. cvs update -d 10.7 did the trick.
