FYI, Apple has fixed a couple bugs we discovered in Xcode 4.0 and 4.1 with
the new Xcode 4.2
release. The issue with gettext-tools' xgettext.c being miscompiled at -O2
(which we worked around
with -O4) using clang from Xcode 4.1 has been fixed with a backport from
llvm.org's svn.

I was also told, but haven't verified yet, that the i386 ocaml build issues are
fixed in Xcode 4.2.
This isn't of much use for Lion and the access of Xcode 4.2 on SL will be quite
limited as you have
to either have purchased Xcode 4.0 for SL when it was still available or have a
paid ADC account.
