Hi Hanspeter, We investigated the dependency in the current situation and found that what you said is true. I'm pretty sure these dependencies on gnome packages were needed to complete the build before, but yes, currently these packages seems unnecessary.
Now these packages are removed from Depends and Builddepends. Thanks for your report.
