Dear all,

having never tried to build anything on my own, I now dared to build xsane on
my system 10.8.2, because it is not available for that on fink yet. One of my
problems was that www.xsane.org is down for months now, so I grabbed the source
from an ubuntu-page. I tried to follow the instructions on fink's example page
(the one with wax well) and even managed to write an info that passed the test,
even fetch worked. But the build process ended with "Failed: directory
/sw/src/fink.build/xsane-0.996-1/xsane_0.996.orig doesn't exist, check the
package description".
The info file reads:

Package: xsane
Version: 0.996
Revision: 1
Source:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/xsane/%v-2ubuntu1.1/+files/xsane_%v.orig.tar.gz
Source-MD5: 7dcbcdf0e83322d7c0a543672d9ca2d8
Maintainer: Gerrit Busch <XXXX>
Homepage: http://www.xsane.org
License: GPL
Description: Graphical scanning frontend for SANE

(XXXX is my mail address, not important here I guess.)

Does anybody know what went wrong?

Best, Gerrit
