FYI, I committed a fftw3-3.3.3-3 update into the 10.4 and 10.7 trees. The previous packaging had neglected to pass --enable-sse2/--enable-sse to configure for the double and single precision library builds on Intel. This caused the SIMD support to not be built on Intel which gromacs 4.6.x complained about. If you have packaging, which like gromacs detects these SIMD versions of the fftw3 calls, you should revision bump your package with a (>= 3.3.3-3) appended to the BuildDepends/Depends on fftw3/fftw3-shlibs.
