/usr/bin/sed on both 10.9 and 10.10. $ which sed /usr/bin/sed
If I enter the command xz -dc ptexlive/archive/xdvik-20090903-texlive2009.diff.xz \ | sed -e 's|\$(common_includes) \$(FREETYPE2_INCLUDES)|\$(FREETYPE2_INCLUDES) \$(common_includes)|g' \ xdvik-20090903-texlive2009.diff manually, I get the error ``sed: RE error: illegal byte sequence'' on both 10.9 and 10.10 with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8. So, only the difference is the environment variable, unset or not unset in Fink.
