Try the previous CVS revision of the package. I’ll try to build this version
on 10.7 and 10.8 and I’ll distribution-tag it appropriately if it only fails on
10.7 and revert it if it fails on 10.8, too.
10.7-10.8 are effectively EOL’ed (I should make a formal announcement but stuff
keeps getting in the way) so in general the best bet for broken unmaintained
packages may be to revert to the last known working version.
