Hi everyone! I'm having problems playing sound through xmms 1.2.6 on MacOS X 10.1.2 ... I have looked at the FAQ, and everything seems to be fine from that respect. The permissions on /tmp/.esd are correct, and I have the output plugin selected in xmms, and I have it running as 'esd -port 16001 &', but when I go to play a song, it comes up with a dialog box saying:
"Please check that: 1. You have the correct output plugin selected 2. No other programs is blocking the soundcard 3. Your soundcard is configured properly" Has anyone else experienced this, or can you help?
