I will now download the package descriptions for Fink 0.3.2a and update the
core packages. After that, you should update the other packages using
commands like 'fink update-all'.

tar -xzvf -

that's it...it gets stuck in the tar...
What should I do ?

I have had the ssame problem, but it solved now (many thanx to Eric Price). There is a solution in the net he send me the link it was:
