Even though AquaTerm's webpage at 
http://aquaterm.sourceforge.net/docs/index.html
says I can save them to EPS,
AcquTerm 0.2.1 only allows me to save them to PDF, so I guess I can only do 
it on
octave. But the tricks I found on Octave's archives  at
http://www.octave.org/octave-lists/archive/octave-sources.2001/msg00106.html
do not seem to work with my installation.
