Hi, In was browsing through the fink-developer archives and saw the discussion about inodes. I am not subscribed to fink-developer, so I post this message here, since it might be of interest to other users too. The first point I would like to make is that inodes also exist on HFS+ partitions (and not only UFS as suggested in one of the postings). If I open my MacOSX partition with FileBuddy, I see an folder called HFS+ private data, which contains hundreds of inode files, occupying many MB's of diskspace. So my question is: are they a part of Fink, and should I just leave them, or can I delete them to free up some diskspace?
(btw, what are those files exactly?) thanks, - Koen. _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
