Hi, all. This doesn't relate directly to fink, but I haven't found anything
on a few forums I've looked at.

fsck -y does nothing on my system. I've tracked that down to there not
being an /etc/fstab file. I do have /etc/fstab.hd, /etc/fstab.rd, and
/etc/fstab.sd.

/etc/fstab.hd looks like this:

/dev/hd0a / ufs rw 1 1
/dev/hd0e /var ufs rw 1 2
/dev/hd0f /usr ufs rw 1 2
/dev/hd0d /tmp mfs rw,-s=12000,-b=8192,-f=1024,-T=sd660 0

/etc/fstab.sd is the same, except "hd" in the first column above is replaced
by "sd".
/etc/fstab.rd is the same, except (confusingly, to me), /usr and /var have
been switched. Everything else is in the same order, but partiction hd0e is
now /usr and hd0f is now /var.

All three files were created at the same time, and all are owned by root,
with group "wheel". The time is a long time ago, so it may have been when I
installed.

Do I have a problem here? Is there some way to recreate my fsck file? If
not, should I update the one I have?

Thanks for any help.
