also if you could check another issue pls: lftp as of version 2.4.8
writes a file named 'gmon.out' to every working directory it was run
from. I have 10 users that use the program and this file appears all
over the server hierarchy (because they envoke lftp being in different
places). I'm using sudo find / -name gmon.out -exec rm {} \; often to
get rid of the junk. quite annoying... Other than that lftp-2.4.8 is
cool!
