An additional thought that I just had would be to have a 'fink-docs' package
as part of the base distribution (or maybe as an optional package). It
could just be plain text files installed in /sw/share/docs/fink that contain
FAQs and HOWTOS. As questions come up frequently, a maintainer could add
FAQs to the package, and during a selfupdate everybody will get the
revisions, if it is a required package, or have the option to update it if
it is an optional one.
