Hu? What? I think that mysql, apachae, bash, db, freetype2, gimp, 
glib, gnome, gtk, orbit, qt3 and xfree86 all are quite stable... or 
do you think otherwise?

More or less the same definition as for debian. I.e. besides the fact 
that the software should run stable (meaning, it shouldn't crash, and 
it shouldn't do nasty things to your data, like erasing your HD), the 
package must be stable as well. That means it must install flawlessly 
on all sorts of machines, not produce unexpeceted errors, comply to 
the policy, etc.
