Hi,
I installed nmh-1.0.4-1 from unstable, and I gather we are supposed to
give feedback when we try something, so here is what I found...
nmh compiled and installed just fine. "comp" also works just fine.
But, I get this error when trying "inc":
mcxr2 : 208>inc
inc: unable to lock and fopen /var/mail/paulr
Here is my /var/mail:
mcxr2 : 214>ll /var/mail
total 8
drwxrwxr-x 3 root mail 58 Mar 21 16:53 ./
drwxr-xr-x 18 root unknown 568 Mar 21 16:23 ../
-rw------- 1 paulr mail 674 Mar 21 16:53 paulr
Does anyone know what is causing this error message or how to work
around it?
One other suggestion as wel: Since sendmail isn't working by default on OS
X, it would be good to put some comment in "fink info nmh" about how
to enable sendmail so that MH can work.
