Because i was trying to access a number of unstable packages, fink at one point when I reconfigured to check those listings that I reconfigure to selfupdate to cvs. I problem is that now I can't get selfupdate to work, and I can't figure out how to undo that setting (I have looked at the conf file, but I don't see anything obvious).
The error I get when I run sudo fink selfupdate-cvs is: cvs [update aborted]: cannot open .new.ChangeLog: Permission denied I can not find a file by that name that has a permission to deny, and the command has been executed with sudo.
