Chris.. Thanks for your reply... Actually, it is not working at all... But on a whim.. I decided to check ProcessViewer.. and there is xmms!!!!!
It is apparently running between 0 and 1.6 % of CPU and uses 0.6 %memory!! Maybe I just don't understand a thing (actually I don't). I killed the app in the ProcessViewer, restarted XDarwin and tried again from a terminal window. All I get is the warning about the locale. I get absolutely nothing: no program visible at all no GUI. But it appears as running in the ProcessViewer Again. What else should try? I am running BlackBox. Before the upgrade with OSX 10.1.4 everything was fine...
