There are two different ways you can fix this.
(1) Update your developer tools. You can get the 10.1 developer tools
either as part of the twenty dollar os10.1 upgrade cds or, if you have a
decent connection, by downloading them from apple.
(2) If you use install things using sudo dselect instead of fink, then it
dowloads things which are already compiled and doesn't care what your c
compiler is like.
