Hello all,
Would anyone happen to know why my Mac would be "locking up" when a package
is installed which has to patch a configure file? I'm unable to install any
package now that has to patch a configure file. It will always hang at:
"patching file configure"
What is actually patching configure files? Could something have gotten
corrupted with this? No only does it lock up in the terminal (Pressing
return just advances the line) it locks up the system. I'm unable to switch
to any other application without it then freezing that app as well. It's
the first time I've seen something that will bring down the entire system
(and a hard reboot is required.)
I've got 10.1.4 and:
Package manager version: 0.9.12
Distribution version: 0.4.0.cvs
