I am using Xtools. I find that X11 doesn't handle my Apple keyboard properly. E.g. (according to xev)
HOME becomes (keysym 0x29, parenright) END becomes (keysym 0x2b, plus) Control-/ becomes Control-o (when Control is held down, / is taken as o) Control-RET becomes Control-m (similar) And so forth. This plays havoc with XEmacs in particular. Most annoyingly, the ! symbol doesn't work properly in a query-replace operation.
