Are you using system-xfree86, or a version of xfree86-base lower than 4.2.0-5? The packages were built against the latest xfree86-base in unstable, which added a new library -- things won't build if you've got an older XFree86 from fink, or if you're using someone else's XFree86 with the system-xfree86 placeholder. We've update the instructions on the KDE page, see: http://fink.sourceforge.net/news/kde.php ...for more info.
