Actually, what's happening is instead of the file you request, you get an HTML page with options to select a mirror. if you just change your download site to be one of the mirrors, everything works. for example, replace prdownloads with this in all your .info files: http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ that will use the mirror at ibiblio. this: http://telia.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge will use the telia mirror (in denmark, I think). I have been struggling with a source install in Darwin (not OS X) and have been bitten by lots of these little things. -- Paul Beard / 8040 27th Ave NE / Seattle WA 98115 / paulbeard [at] mac [ dot] com / 206 529 8400 http://paulbeard.no-ip.org/movabletype Lieberman's Law: Everybody lies, but it doesn't matter since nobody listens. _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
