I ran 'fink update xmms' again and got the same error:

<lots of code -- see earlier email below>
make[4]: *** [xmms] Error 1
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
### make failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling xmms-1.2.7-1 failed

So, I then ran 'sudo apt-get install xmms'. It installed okay but the
version is older.

Unpacking replacement xmms ...
Setting up xmms (1.2.6-3) ...

How can I successfully get 1.2.7-1 installed?
