statement for what his intended actions are, and in fact I share his

Yes but even if you don't some things will break...

Yeah so except for people that need the new dev tools (e.g. because 
they need to prepare their own software for gcc 3 or need some of the 
bug fixes absolutly), my personal recommendation is to stick to the 
Dec Dev tools, as I am doing for all my real work (Apr. tools are 
only installed on a seperate partition). They break things, and if 
you use the new Project Builder, your projects are converted to the 
new format, which is a bad thing (TM) if you have to work with people 
that also stick to the the old tools.
