(just thought I'd chime into the discussion here... I'm currently using VNC to view applications on my linux mp3 server, but it'd be nice to view them from my MacOS X machine...) I put in the following (after doing 'ssh -X [EMAIL PROTECTED]'): jeremy@simba:~$ export DISPLAY=192.168.0.2:0.0 jeremy@simba:~$ xcalc & [1] 16527 And got this: jeremy@simba:~$ Xlib: connection to "192.168.0.2:0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified Error: Can't open display: 192.168.0.2:0.0 Any ideas? I also tried the 'xauth' method, and received the same error... (I have OroborOSX open, so Xdarwin is running.)
