Hello all,
I tried to install the r-base package which failed after about 20
minutes :
dumping R code in package `methods'
Error in .Call("R_initialize_methods_metadata", table, PACKAGE =
"methods") :
.Call function name not in load table
Execution halted
make[4]: *** [../../../library/methods/R/all.rda] Error 1
make[3]: *** [all] Error 2
make[2]: *** [R] Error 1
make[1]: *** [R] Error 1
make: *** [R] Error 1
### make failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling r-base-1.4.0-3 failed
This is the same bug that Max Horn submitted in April #546081. I also
tried it manually with the latest version of R (1.5.1) and the same
thing happened.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
