I'm having trouble installing LYX. Fink seems to have trouble downloading the file teTeX-texmf-1.0.2.tar.gz. It begins to download it with
curl -f -L -s -S -O ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/unix/teTeX/current/distrib/sources/teTeX-texmf-1.0.2.tar.gz But it gets stuck. I've tried leaving overnight to finish thinking it might be a large file, but I later find that the modem has disconnected and the file has not finished downloading. I've tried again and again. Is there a known problem with the file teTeX-texmf-1.0.2.tar.gz? Has anyone else had difficulty installing lyx? -- Ariel Balter Home: 327 S.
