Hello all,
I've been checking the archive for an answer and haven't found anything (though there
were a few similar cases). I'm having a problem compiling xfree86-base with the
latest fink (0.4.0a) on a fully-updated iBook (10.1.5).

Here is the error with preceding context:

 make MAKE=/usr/bin/gnumake World WORLDOPTS=-S

Building Release 6.6 of the X Window System.

I hope you checked the configuration parameters in ./config/cf
to see if you need to pass BOOTSTRAPCFLAGS.

Tue Jun 25 12:06:41 EDT 2002

cd ./config/imake && /usr/bin/gnumake  -f Makefile.ini BOOTSTRAPCFLAGS="" CC="cc" clean
rm -f ccimake imake.o imake
rm -f *.CKP *.ln *.BAK *.bak *.o core errs ,* *~ *.a tags TAGS make.log \#*
rm -f -r Makefile.proto Makefile Makefile.dep bootstrap
/usr/bin/gnumake  Makefile.boot
cd ./config/imake && /usr/bin/gnumake  -f Makefile.ini BOOTSTRAPCFLAGS="" CC="cc"
making imake with BOOTSTRAPCFLAGS= in config/imake
cc -o ccimake  -O -I../../include -I../../imports/x11/include/X11 ccimake.c
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/libSystem.dylib load command 6 unknown cmd field
gnumake[2]: *** [ccimake] Error 1
gnumake[1]: *** [imake.proto] Error 2
make: *** [World] Error 2
###  failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling xfree86-base-4.2.0-4 failed

So the problem appears to be with /usr/lib/libSystem.dylib, but of course being a
newbie to fink *and* Darwin, I'm a bit lost. Anyone have a hint as to a solution?

Thanks,
Eric
