Hi
Cannot gtk+2 coexist with gtk+?
fink install gtk+2 gives me this:

dpkg -i /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-
powerpc/gnome/gtk+2-dev_2.0.5-2_darwin-powerpc.deb
dpkg: considering removing gtk+ in favour of gtk+2-dev ...
dpkg: no, cannot remove gtk+ (--auto-deconfigure will help):
  gnome-vfs-shlibs depends on gtk+
   gtk+ is to be removed.
dpkg: regarding .../gtk+2-dev_2.0.5-2_darwin-powerpc.deb containing
gtk+2-dev:
  gtk+2-dev conflicts with gtk+ (<< 1.2.10-12)
   gtk+ (version 1.2.10-11) is installed.

But gtk+ has too many dependencies. Do I have to rebuild all of them to use
gtk+2?
A search in the mailing list for 'gtk conflict' gives nothing relevant
pertaining to this.
I don't see anything on this page that addresses this:
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/gtk-building.html
I would read the gtk FAQ, but http://www.gtk.org/faq gives me a blank page
(!!!)
Thanks
Ken
