I installed Lilypond - a program which uses TeX, LaTeX, et al to print
music. That part works well if I go through the steps manually,
invoking lilypond on the command line. Lilypond also comes with some
python scripts to convert Midi files and do other tasks. The most
basic is ly2dvi which converts a lilypond file to a dvi file.

KeyError: TEXMF
Does anyone know if this works in the fink installation. Are there any
other Lilypond users. What are the requirements for getting I/O from a
midi instrument?
