I'm using Fink 0.4.0a on Mac OS X 10.1.5. I'm having problems with the
XEmacs from the binary distribution (version 21.4.5-2) and Thursby
Software's DAVE to connect to a Windows domain (the version for Mac OS
10.1). (I also have the binary xemacs-sumo-pkg, version 20020329-1,
installed.)

Let's say that DAVE mounts an SMB share at /Volumes/share1. In the
Finder, I can see all the files and directories on the share. I can also
see all the files and directories using /bin/ls.

When I try to open files in XEmacs, I start by typing ^X^F, then
"/Volumes/share1", followed by tab a couple of times. Only some of the
files and directories appear, meaning I can't use tab completion to access
them. I can type the file or directory name to access it, but that's not
ideal because I don't always remember the full path to a file.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? I couldn't find anything in the
mailing lists about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Daniel Westermann-Clark
