I'm trying the newly added gramps 0.8.0-1. Thanks for the work on this
package.
I'm seeing a number of problems. As I don't know much about this yet, I
will post some of these issues here before trying the upstream
discussion lists.

Executing from the command line gives a warning:
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "/sw/share/gramps/intl.py", line 37, in ?
     from intl22 import *
ImportError: Inappropriate file type for dynamic loading

With a filename on the command line, the same traceback is generated,
though the .ged file is imported correctly.

Trying to use Save or Save As from the menu creates an empty directory
and generates the message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "/sw/lib/python2.2/site-packages/libglade.py", line 28, in
__call__
     ret = apply(self.func, a)
   File "/sw/share/gramps/gramps_main.py", line 788, in
on_ok_button2_clicked
     self.save_file(filename,_("No Comment Provided"))
   File "/sw/share/gramps/gramps_main.py", line 819, in save_file
     self.db.save(filename,self.load_progress)
AttributeError: GrampsDB instance has no attribute 'save'

The Export menu item works fine

Any suggestions?
