I know it's a little OT, but... I've been using Fink and lurking the mailing lists since the 0.3.0 release (when good ol' chrisp was still around and somewhat cheery), and I just want to send a heart-felt "Thank You!" to all the developers involved. I moved from OS 9 to OS X public beta, recoiled in horror to Debian, then came back for 10.1 and never looked back. I discovered "apt for OS X", and having just barely wet my UNIX(-like-OS) toes, I dove in. Fink has not always worked perfectly, but problems are fixed so quickly and my questions are answered on the mailing list long before I get around to asking them. Honestly, Fink unstable currently works _much_ better than Debian stable.
So once again, a huge thanks to all the developers who make Fink go, and also to the users who are finally learning to not ask the same questions over and over again ;) Gratefully yours, Mike ---- "Think Different.
