Hi all, It's me again with the arb-problem. Trying to do the same stuff as mentioned in my mail a couple of minutes ago, I got the following (new) failure message which might help in finding a solution for me:
> How do you want to proceed? [1] 2 > curl -f -L -O > ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/type1inst-0.6.1.tar.gz > curl: (28) Connection aborted > ### execution of curl failed, exit code 28 > Downloading the file "type1inst-0.6.1.tar.gz" failed. > > (1) Give up > (2) Retry > > How do you want to proceed? [1] 2 > curl -f -L -O > ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/type1inst-0.6.1.tar.gz > curl: (10) the username and/or the password are incorrect > ### execution of curl failed, exit code 10 > Downloading the file "type1inst-0.6.1.tar.gz" failed. > > (1) Give up > (2) Retry > > How do you want to proceed? [1] Which username or password is meant here? I was asked for a password when giving the command "fink install arb". However, at this place I entered the right password. Thus, unix probably asks for another password....however, I do not have another one! What can I do to overcome this problem?
