There seems to be a common problem people are having with pan and gftp (I haven't installed gftp yet so I don't know if I have it too) so here is my summary: I'm running on a 10.1.x box that has been upgraded to jaguar (10.2)... I've been running pan (fink) for a while now... after the upgrade of fink to the "jaguar friendly" release pan worked (as pretty much everything else did too)... I jumped into the finkcvs to install pan 12.1 and thats when I started getting the Sans 10 error (copied to the bottom of this message). I ran an update-all, installed everything I could find that had "font" in it... made sure I had the latest glib... nothing has worked thus far....
