I've made a few local *.info files for various programs normally installed manually by x-ray crystallographers, and finally managed to get them to compile and install using fink.
I have these *.info files installed as follows:
Now I have the following problem:% ls /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo/*.info /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo/ccp4-4.2.1.info /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo/mosflm-6.2.2.info /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo/eden-4.0.info
If I install any one of these it works perfectly fine. If I then install a second one, fink removes the first one. Eg:
% fink install edenThus it seems I can only install one local program at a time, so I must be doing something wrong, but what?
sudo /sw/bin/fink install eden

pkg eden version ###
pkg eden version 4.0-1
The following package will be installed or updated:
eden
dpkg -i /sw/fink/dists/local/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/eden_4.0-1_darwin- powerpc.deb
Selecting previously deselected package eden.
(Reading database ... 41256 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking eden (from .../eden_4.0-1_darwin-powerpc.deb) ...
(Noting disappearance of ccp4, which has been completely replaced.)
Setting up eden (4.0-1) ...

Thanks in advance.
