I am trying to compile GMP with the C++ interface on Mac OS X 10.2.
If I want shared libs, it fails. I told it to the GMP maintainers, who replied:

I tried to build the static libs and it worked fine. But the C++ shared lib is really what I need! Any hint? Any hope (within a reasonable delay!) ? Should I download and compile the latest libtool to try again?
