Thanks, that worked.

I'm having major issues building emacs. I've tried using 20.x, 21.x,
unstable, stable, etc, all with no success. The error message follows
the text. I was just curious if anyone else was having the same
difficulty. Just for the record, it built fine in 10.2.1, but after a
fatal system crash, and a nuke and pave on my system, I updated to
10.2.2 before I got around to rebuilding emacs, and now it refuses to
build. I've yet to come across any similar strangeness with other
programs.

### execution of failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling emacs21-21.2-8 failed
make[1]: *** [temacs] Error 1
make: *** [src] Error 2

-As you can see, it doesn't even really tell me what it was that failed.
Nice and cryptic...any ideas?
A bug, apparently. It has been discussed also in comp.sys.mac.*

Here is the ref.:

I recompiled the Carbon Emacs by checking out with the -D "2002-11-01"
flag. That worked.
