Hello

I am new user of fink and I think it is a great pice of work !!! Thank
you all who have done this job until now.

Now my question: I tried to compile r-base with the command "fink install
r-base", but it won't compile. I got the following error message (only
the last five lines):

checking for /sw/lib/tclConfig.sh... /sw/lib/tclConfig.sh
checking for /sw/lib/tkConfig.sh... /sw/lib/tkConfig.sh
./configure: /sw/lib/tclConfig.sh: No such file or directory
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
### execution of (export failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling r-base-1.6.1-1 failed

So, what can I do that r-base will compile? I have to admit that I am a
greenhorn in the matter of compiling software.

I own an iMac G3, 500MHz (early 2001) using Mac OS 10.2.2 and the
Developer Tools (with all Updates, including October).

Thanks in advance for helping me
